Coffee Break

(www.businessandblogging.com) It’s time for another coffee break. There are a lot of exciting posts to share with you this week, so grab your cup of coffee and your snack and prepare to enjoy your morning reading!
- Traditional journalism is losing ground to blogging and new media. From the Digital Journal, most Americans think traditional news sources are out of touch. More and more people are turning to new media, including blogs, as sources of information.
- PC World takes a look at some bloggers who make a living through blogging (including John Chow). An interesting discussion that’s not likely to go away as more and more bloggers set up their sites.
- A roofing company with a blog - this post took me back to our ongoing Business Blog Challenge. Here’s a company that you wouldn’t necessarily connect with blogging, yet they have one.
- Over at Business Blog Consulting, Rich Brooks asks “Is Blogging Recession-Proof?” Well, what do you think? Is it?
- Liz Strauss asks another question that’s well worth considering: When is Being Good Not Good For Business? If you’re in business, or thinking about being in business, this is a post that you can’t ignore.
Some noteworthy posts from Blog Carnival, Edition 2:
- Blogging Basics: Do You Have What It Takes? at Woman Tribune. This post offers some basic tips about starting and managing a blog.
- What to Blog About at Aaron Brandon’s blog. Aaron offers some tips for keeping up your blogging momentum.

Hi Moggy
John Chow certainly has skyrocketed to financial success in a short time with his blog; there’s a lot the rest of us can learn from his experiences even if we don’t ever make $300k per year!!
