Coffee Break

(www.businessandblogging.com) It’s Sunday. Time for another Coffee Break. It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day, so we have some Irish Coffee on hand for those of you who feel a bit adventurous today. Or, you can just have your regular, if that’s what you prefer.
We’ve got some interesting reading for you this week, so kick off your shoes and get comfortable.
There were several great posts specifically about business blogging this week:
-
From Khalid Hajsaleh at the Invesp blog comes a giant list of business blogging do’s and don’ts. While I don’t agree with every single point on the list, every blogger should be able to learn something here.
- Yvonne Russell at Home Biz Notes, has found a free white paper on business blogging. I haven’t downloaded my copy yet, but the price is definitely right and Yvonne is giving it a thumbs up.
One problem that every blogger faces, whether or not they are a business blogger, is the problem of finding readers. Fortunately, some of the blogosphere’s veteran bloggers have chimed in this week with some solutions to the problem:
- Chris Garrett at chrisg.com discusses how to get the right type of attention for your blog.
- Over at ProBlogger Darren Rowse is running a five part series on how he would promote his blog if he were to start again. The entire series is a must-read for any serious blogger.
Online reputation management is hot right now, and here are some posts that prove it.
- From Marty Weintraub at the search engine land blog, Nine Essential Tactics For Reputation Management In Social Media.
- Andy Beal, blogging at Mashable, offers us Ten Tactics That Could Save Your Online Reputation.
