Darren Posts on ad:tech Sydney Day 1
Happily, Darren Rowse is here at ad:tech Sydney and blogging it. See his report of Day 1, including some comments on the panel session on blogging, in which I participated.
One of the observations several of us panel members made was that businesses that want to understand blogging and communicate with and through bloggers, e.g. the advertisers, pr people and marketers who are the main group of delegates at this conference, really need to start blogging themselves, or they just aren’t going to get it.
Interestingly, a similar message was coming through in other sessions, e.g. on social networking - using MySpace, Beebo Bebo and Second Life, for example.
