Is It Time To Spring Clean Your Business Blog?
(www.businessandblogging.com) Last week we marked the first day of spring. With the onset of spring, many have turned their thoughts to spring cleaning.
If it’s been a while since you’ve taken a critical look at your blog, it just might be time to do some spring cleaning there as well.
Here are ten spring cleaning questions to ask yourself about your business blog:
- Does the template and design of my blog still match my company image?
- Are my topics relevant to my customers and potential customers?
- Does my “About” page provide adequate information about my business?
- Does my blog provide a way for prospective clients to contact my business?
- Have I been responding to comments left on the blog?
- Do I include my blog’s URL on my company website and correspondence?
- Am I posting new material on my blog on a regular basis?
- Does my blog have a community?
- Does my blogroll contain blogs that are relevant to my customers and potential customers?
- Am I using social media effectively?
If you answer the spring cleaning questions honestly, then the areas where your business blog needs improvement should become evident.
(Don’t embarrassed, almost everyone has at least one area where they need to improve.)
Focus your spring cleaning effort on those areas that you feel need the most improvement.
Here’s to a better business blog!
Did you perform spring cleaning on your business blog? How did it go? We’d leave to hear about it.
