Marvellous Online Creativity Tools from Mashable

by Des Walsh on August 2nd, 2007

Ever wonder where bloggers who use lots of pictures in their posts get those pictures? And how you could get different pictures that you could use without breaching copyright and without having to spend a lot of money for the privilege?

And what about how to find tools to help you with video editing or podcasting?

Your search is over.

The social networking news site Mashable has come to the party with a truly extraordinary resource, the Online Media God, which lists and links to over four hundred tools - for photographers, videobloggers, podcasters and musicians.

Just this morning I used one of the listed photography resources, stock.xchange, to find a royalty-free picture of a lion, to use in a post on my Thinking Home Business site.

And as I have started to get my feet wet in the videoblogging department, I will be rifling the included Online Video God’s 150+ resources for what looks like a very rich resource of tools and how-to sites.

Thanks to John Jantsch for the link.

Des, man I am glad you’re speaking at Blog World. I’m looking forward to your session. And I’m glad the organisers had the foresight to invite you up on stage. Well done mate.

Thanks for your encouragement. That means a lot to me, especially coming from one of the people I admire most in this field!
