New Podcast: Business Blogging Show
Alert: some shameless self-promotion here. But hopefully not without utility for readers of this blog.
This is the story. After quite a bit of to-ing and fro-ing, I am finally underway with my new focus on podcasting. Not before time: I’d encouraged enough people to think about doing podcasts, but had not taken it on properly myself.
The practical expression of this new phase is that I’ve just launched the Business Blogging Show on the Podserve system. (See update below about new site).
The short description of the show is:
Des Walsh on the blogging of business: i.e. how business - especially small business - can access and use blogging and other social networking tools.
In other words, pretty much the focus of this blog. But, unlike this blog, the podcast show is not part of the b5media network.
Some of the discoveries, angst, mistakes, corrections involved in my getting to the stage where I have a functioning podcast show are on my Thinking Home Business blog in these posts.
(Update, March 5: after quite a bit of trial and error, the Business Blogging Show is now installed on its own site, with its own web address http://www.businessbloggingshow and RSS feed http://www.businessbloggingshow.com/feed. If you have previously subscribed to the feed from the previous site on Podserve, I trust you will be interested enough to re-subscribe with the new feed.)
