Six Gift Ideas for Business Bloggers

As the season of giving is almost upon us, the bloggers of the b5media business channel have agreed to come up with some ideas today for gifts.

For a putative gift recipient, I’m thinking about the business person new to blogging.

Here are a few ideas:

• Six months services of a mentor coach for an hour a week to help with understanding how the blogosphere works, and with posting to the blog, getting the blog known and dealing with challenges as they arise.
• Twelve months services of a virtual assistant with practical blogging experience who can assemble ideas for blog posts, do chores such as registering the blog on directories and find interesting blog posts for the business blogger to comment on.
• Voice recognition typing software that works faster than touch typing and does not require a super computer to do so.
• An offline blog editing program that operates totally seamlessly with the blogger’s platform of choice, without needing any workarounds.
• An easily configured software tool that has the magical ability to automatically transform a couple of paragraphs of meandering, pedestrian thoughts into a profound, timely post, wittily expressed.
• A pet parrot trained to say once a day “Wow! That’s a great post you wrote yesterday! I’m sure you’ll have another top one today.”
